Riverside Truck Rental has taken delivery of 16 Isuzu Forward N75.190 (E) rigids with Geesink compaction bodies and trailer lifts. The trucks were supplied by Isuzu’s fleet sales team.

The Skelmersdale-based company said the vehicles are part of a fleet investment programme and that the Forward is now the favoured 7.5-tonner for its fleet. They will work for five years on one-day spot hire and long-term rental across the UK.

Riverside Truck Rental, which specialises in niche sectors, including refuse and recycling, operates 2,000 rental vehicles across the UK. Chris Snelson, fleet and asset director at the firm, said excellent customer feedback about the performance and reliability of its Isuzus prompted the decision to increase the number of Forwards in its fleet.

“We have operated Isuzu trucks for many years on different applications and found that, at 7.5 tonne, they offer a very impressive payload. We also find that the Easyshift automatic transmission option is an attractive proposition for customers.”
