JOST GB will be showcasing its revolutionary KKS automatic coupling solution at the inaugural Road Transport Expo, taking place at NAEC Stoneleigh from 30 June to 2 July.

Located on Stand E9 in the Trailer Zone, other highlights of the JOST GB stand include its new Drum Modular Axle, ZGA command steer axle, as well as a full overview of its portfolio of commercial vehi-cle components, modules and systems.

Launched in April 2021, KKS is JOST’s new automatic coupling system which enables the driver to couple and uncouple a semi-trailer via remote control – automatically, safely and quickly.

Therefore, operators can increase efficiency, convenience and safety with one single product.

All this, said JOST, makes KKS the “future of logistics and a key component in autonomous driving”.

The KKS demo arrives at Road Transport Expo off the back of a successful three-week ‘KKS Road-show’, which marked the official launch of the product in the UK and gave customers throughout the country the opportunity to get up-close and hands-on with the KKS solution.

JOST said its KKS system received rave reviews from customers throughout the tour, with feedback including: “Taking driver safety to a new level”; “The most innovative product for truck safety and efficiency that I have seen in a long time”; and “Greatly improving safety and comfort for the haulage industry”.

KKS is just one element of the JOST GB Road Transport Expo stand, with another centrepiece being its recently launched Drum Modular Axle (DMA) series.

Developed as a direct result of customer feedback, the DMA series expands on the existing JOST axles portfolio to offer customers a unique specification which meets operator needs and has been designed to ensure easy maintenance and service to reduce workshop downtime.

Also on show will be the JOST ZGA command steer axle, which offers improved vehicle manoeuvrability through a small steering radius, low steering forces and reduced energy consumption. The result is time saved, lower fuel consumptions and reduced tyre wear.

Joining KKS, the Drum Modular Axle and JOST ZGA will be highlights from across the JOST GB portfolio of products and solutions encompassing the JOST, ROCKINGER, TRIDEC and Quicke brands.

JOST GB managing director Danny Broomfield said: “Whether it is newly launched products such as KKS, or products which have been adding value to customers for many years, we’re incredibly proud of the JOST portfolio and we can’t wait to share it with customers at Road Transport Expo.”
