Clarks Direct failed to meet CVA terms, says administrator
Administrators at Norwich-based Clarks Direct, which collapsed in January, have revealed that it tried to alter the terms of its CVA after falling into arrears with HMRC.Despite maintaining payments to creditors after entering into the deal in September 2010, administrator PKF revealed that The Delivery Specialists, which traded as Clarks Direct, breached the terms of arrangement after building up a debt of nearly £600,000 owed to HMRC.
