Warrington Vehicle Centre has supplied Stockport-based Robinsons Brewery with its first ever Isuzu Truck.
The Isuzu N75.190 with a 4.2m curtain-sided body from PPS Commercials is based at the Robinsons Brewery facility in Bredbury, near Stockport and comes with a full seven-year R&M contract. It will cover up to 30,000 miles a year transporting Dizzy Blonde cask beer, and other company products, to remote pubs in the Lake District and Cumbria, as well as journeys to tenanted and managed pubs within Manchester city centre.
Mathew Heath, logistics manager at Robinsons Brewery said: “We operate on two specific routes where we have difficulty delivering our products with our existing vehicles. The addition of the Isuzu has eradicated these problems overnight.
"Up in Cumbria, we used to operate a two vehicle delivery service to certain remote locations, however the Isuzu can do the job of both these vehicles making this particular operation far more efficient now. At the same time, city centre pub locations in Manchester always prove difficult but again the Isuzu has given us a more flexible and efficient delivery service to these customers.”
