Russian bank orders 1,000 MAN trucks

A Russian bank is buying 1,000 MAN TGAs. JSC TransKreditBank ordered the MANs though MAN's local sales subsidiary, MAN Avtomobili Rossiya. JSC plans to lease the vehicles to Russian hauliers such as Sovtransauto, Navigator, D-Trans and other members of the Association of International Road Carriers. The order comprises TGA 18.390s and 18.480 4x2 BLSs - 800 will be supplied with LX cabs the remainder will have XLX cabs. 


MAN has also increased its production capacity with a new assembly plant in Poland. LGVs are due to start rolling off the line near Cracow within a few weeks.
