There are new owners at Rygor Commercials, the Mercedes-Benz dealership covering West London to Wiltshire, following the 100% share purchase by the management for an undisclosed sum.

Tim Stacey, Paul Reed and Graham Drake have acquired the Rygor Group and transport operator Rygor Group Services from the Rygor family. Chairman Ted Rygor has retired and Barry Rygor remains on the board as operations director.

Stacey, formerly dealer principal and now managing director, says: "We are very excited to buy a company we all know so well. "Rygor Commercials operates in a good geographic area and has excellent staff, as well as a strong customer base and a top-quality network of suppliers."

Reed is group aftersales director and Drake is financial director. Stacey is also dealer principal for the Westbury, Salisbury, Swindon and Newbury dealerships, while Reed is dealer principal for Heathrow and Reading.

Rygor has already completed refurbishment and expansion programmes at Swindon, and a build at Newbury and Salisbury. The latest project is a purpose-built facility in Reading.
