The London Evening Standard has taken delivery of 40 new Fuso Canters from the Heathrow branch of Rygor.

According to the newspaper it returned to the dealer to refresh its fleet as the first Canters it took delivery of in 2013 proved to be efficient and reliable. Tony Camden, transport manager at the London Evening Standard, said: “Our last fleet of Canters was 39 strong and we have come to rely on them.

“They are exactly what we need to drive around London, so they are always my vehicle of choice. The automatic gearbox is ideal for driver ease and comfort, and the size of the vehicle and turning circle makes manoeuvring much easier.”

Camden said the newspaper has a great relationship with the staff at Rygor, particularly group truck manager Rish Channa. “I know I can trust them to deliver what we need as a business,” he explained.
