Turkish-based commercial vehicle spare parts manufacturer Sampa was in attendance at Road Transport Expo to promote its growing range of products.
Having recently been awarded the ISO 500 manufacturing standard for for its commitment to excellence, Sampa had a tiny snapshot of its 80,000 HGV products on display including track rod ends, ball joints and air springs.
Sampa is amongst the world’s largest manufacturers of suspension air bags, producing more than 5m per year and supplying nearly most European and North American manufacturers with their products in commercial vehicles, trailers, buses, defence and rail. Currently operating out of 13 factories, with a leading R&D facility, Sampa has plans to establish ten further facilities and ambitions to become the world’s leading manufacturer of all truck parts. Sampa has gained recognition from OEMs for its expertise in reverse engineering parts to enhance performance and tolerance levels and is now collaborating with Manchester University in the development of stronger graphene components.
It's aftermarket parts business, established in 2019 from Trafford Park, now provides same day delivery in the local area and a next day overnight service to the rest of the country.
