Scania has introduced a used vehicle phone app containing detailed specifications of its trucks for sale, together with full screen images.

The app includes search filters to help customers quickly locate the exact type of vehicle they are looking for. Users can save searches as well as email requests for further information to Scania Direct, the manufacturer’s pre-owned sales channel, launched in February.

Scania Direct provides a single point of access to used stock from its UK dealer network and is designed to accelerate and simplify the buying process.

Used vehicle sales director at Scania, Tony Tomsett said: “The app is linked to Scania Direct, which means our full range of stock nationwide can be accessed via the user's mobile device.

“Once a suitable vehicle has been located, an in-built contact system puts customers directly in touch with their local sales representative to progress the enquiry.”

The app is available from Apple's App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android).
