Our used truck of the week is a 2016 Scania P250 18-tonne curtainsider, based at the Trafford Park depot of West Pennine Trucks.

This 16-plate vehicle, which features sleeper cab, rear barn doors, tuckaway tail-lift and 2-pedal Opticruise gearbox, has clocked up 81,000km and is said to be in excellent condition. The cab has plenty of overhead and underbunk storage, as well as features such as air-conditioning and hill-hold.

Stuart Wolstenholme, used truck sales manager at West Pennine Trucks, said: “The truck comes from a respected national contract hire company with a full Scania service history and low mileage. With its high specification, good-sized body and convenient tuckaway tail-lift, it is ideal for pallet network deliveries, own-account operation and general distribution.”

The vehicle features full air-deflector kit, cruise control, reverse alarm, roof hatch, traction control, LED daytime running lights and a deep front bumper. There is also lane departure warning, advance emergency braking and an axle load indicator to prevent overloading.

Wolstenholme said: “We will supply the truck fully serviced and include a 12-month warranty and service package including MoT. Flexible finance options are available and the truck comes with a free 10-year telematics package with online reporting of fuel economy and driver performance.”

The vehicle is available from any of the West Pennine Trucks’ network of depots in Knighton, Oswestry, Middleton, Stoke-on-Trent, Telford and Trafford Park, which provide truck sales, vehicle servicing and R&M services. “It has the latest Euro-6 engine technology, giving plenty of power and excellent fuel economy,” Wolstenholme said.

“The on-board driver coaching will assist the driver to achieve the best possible fuel economy and encourage an efficient driving style.”
