Scania R-Series and Daf XF105 top CM's Used Trucks chart

The most searched for trucks on Commercialmotor.com to date are the Scania R-Series and the Daf XF105.

Since our Used Trucks marketplace debuted last year, we have advertised more than 30,000 used trucks and trailers for sale.

Of these, the single most viewed listing is a 56-reg Scania R480 Topline tractor unit from Smith Brothers Services, which attracted more than a thousand views over a two-month period.

Second place goes to a 2009 58-plate Scania R500 from Moody International, while third is a 56-reg Daf XF105 Super Space tractor unit offered by MJ Slater Haulage.

However not all visitors to Used Trucks are searching for tractor units. The three most popular search terms are tipper, trailer and crane in that order.

In fact, 16 of the top search terms include tipper in some form, such as 8x4 tipper (6th) and volvo tipper (26th).

The most searched-for manufacturer is Scania, followed by Volvo and Daf. Daf also currently holds the honour of being the manufacturer with the most listings on the site with almost 900 of its trucks available at time of writing.
