Scania has given its new 13-litre engine its first public showing at the Solutrans show in Lyon despite having no Super trucks on its stand with the new driveline.

The only diesel-powered truck on show is a Scania 770 S that is confusingly wearing a Super badge on its grille and appears to have been heavily customised at a French franchise of Halfords.

Of the other four vehicles on display, two were electric, one a diesel hybrid and another biogas.
