SDC Trailers has opened a sales centre at Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, (near junction 28 of the M1), which will process new trailer orders. Up to 20 sales, engineering and administration staff will be based in at the purpose-built sales centre, which consists of offices and a trailer showcase area where customers can view design options and completed builds.
Further expansion is in the pipeline with a ‘significant investment’ in trailer production to be completed by the summer.
Headquartered in Toomebridge, Northern Ireland, SDC has a large network throughout the UK and Ireland with five manufacturing plants, two refurbishment and repair centres, nine truck and trailer parts branches and two used sales locations.
SDC (5D85) has six trailers on display at the CV Show with the theme “Have it your way” on its bespoke semi-trailer range, with a 10.6m curtainsider demonstrating its various strapping systems.
SDC also has three trailers in the outside exhibition area for Moffett, TIP and Hireco, as well as a double-deck trailer on the TRL stand (5B110).
