The Iveco and Fiat Professional dealership network, Guest Motor Group, has confirmed it will integrate Sherwood Truck and Van dealership operations into Guest Truck and Van. The two companies operate across the Midlands, East Anglia and the North and have been owned by the same parent organisation since 2011. Moving forward, Sherwood Truck and Van sites in Nottingham, Sheffield, Alfreton, Stoke-on-Trent and Winsford will be rebranded as Guest Truck and Van locations.
Robert Spittle, MD of Guest Motor Group, said: “This brand integration is a natural progression in our ownership of Sherwood Truck and Van. Our customers already know and trust the Guest brand, and now we’re reinforcing that trust by uniting our operations under one cohesive identity. The same great relationship they’ve come to expect from both brands will continue without disruption."
Sherwood customers will transition over with the upcoming changes and retain access to Guest services including Distrigo Parts and vehicle lining services.
Spittle added: “While the branding will be changing, this is business as usual. Our ethos has always been to provide the highest quality automotive services, through fair and understanding interactions, from initial sale through to the ongoing management and care of entire fleets, regardless of size. This merger strengthens that promise. I would also like to thank all our staff for their support during this transition along with our advisers Sarah Ward and Laura Crackle from George Green.”
The Guest Motor Group was founded more than 100 years ago, the latest move is part of the group’s plan to optimise its offering. The two companies have a long history in the commercial vehicle sector with this merger continuing that work. By bringing Sherwood Truck and Van dealerships into the branded identity of the group, Guest will be able to offer customers a cohesive experience across its truck and van network.
