Late haulage boss Stan Robinson has been included on a "wall of honour" of community figures in Stafford.
The montage of photographs of charity fundraisers, inspirational business leaders and other notable people in the town will be displayed on billboards when the Olympic torch relay passes through the area on 30 May.
Figures were nominated by residents, groups, newspapers and councillors.
