Volvo dealer Stuarts Truck and Bus, Exeter has supplied a new FE 6x2 rear-steer tanker with an ADR compliant, vacuum sludge tanker to Chichester-based Marlin Environmental Services.
The 4,100mm wheelbase, day cab Volvo FE comes with the D8K280 8-litre engine rated at 280hp, I-Shift automated gearbox and bodywork by Buckinghams of Kenilworth. Its tanker includes a 3,100 gallon, high grade stainless steel barrel and fully opening rear door with hydraulic assistance, including the clamps and water cooled exhauster vacuum pump.
As well as collecting and disposing of effluent, Marlin works with the government and multi-national companies to install, commission, service and clean waste tank and pipe systems.
