Manufacturer Lawrence David brought its tried and tested pillarless curtainsided trailer, a contemporary Pride Month liveried supermarket delivery van and a plant carrier from within its owner’s portfolio of manufacturers to RTX.
Since its launch in 1989, Lawrence David has built more than 40,000 pillarless curtainsided trailers and it remains a firm favourite with customers. To celebrate Pride Month through June, the manufacturer produced a chilled and ambient home delivery van on a Daimler Sprinter chassis, which will go to work for Sainsbury’s.
Last year, Lawrence David started taking orders for products sourced from within the Wielton Group, including the Langendorf-built SATÜ plant carrier. Commercial director Ben McEvoy says: “It provides competition with the traditional manufacturers of plant and construction trailers in the UK. We have found there is a demand by customers for a standard product.”
