Seafield Logistics has been selected by candy-maker Tommy Tucker as its storage and distribution partner.

Worksop, Notts-based Seafield Logistics is located near the confectionary manufacturer's sites at Retford and Worksop.

From there it will pick and pack goods, distributing approximately 150 loads weekly to Odeon and Vue cinemas. London cinemas will be served from Seafield's Aylesham, Kent depot. The firm has purchased six new trucks for the deal.

In addition, the logistics company will receive two bulk deliveries of popping corn every week from the USA, which will be taken to Tommy Tucker's sites.

Simon Stanham, finance director at Tommy Tucker, says: "We are very pleased to be working with Seafield Logistics in building a successful long-term relationship for our distribution and warehousing requirements."
