T James adds eight Mercedes-Benz Actros units to fleet

Northumberland-based haulier T James has added four Mercedes-Benz Actros 2548 StreamSpace tractor units from Bell Truck and Van to its fleet.

A further four are scheduled to follow by the year-end. The vehicles have 476hp 6-cylinder engines, optional predictive powertrain control and were acquired through Mercedes-Benz Financial Services.

They will be inspected and serviced by Bell Truck and Van under five-year repair and maintenance contracts. Director Alan James said: “The trucks look great and we’re delighted with them.

"We haven’t tested Bell Truck’s back-up yet, but we’re confident we’ll receive high-quality support.”
