DEL has opened a new customer centre in Witney, Oxfordshire. The company is the tail lift brand of Hiab and hopes to improve customer experiences with the new facility.
The Witney site includes a product showroom which displays DEL’s range of tail lift options to suit various different applications. To give customers the full experience, they will be able to operate lifts to work out which one is most suitable for their business.
Peter Robertson, director business unit DEL tail lifts, Hiab, said: “With this new customer centre we will be a step closer to achieving our goal to provide the best possible customer service, support and experience through the product’s lifecycle. Innovation and new product development is also at the core of DEL's future and by bringing the innovation process closer to the customer with brand new R&D test capabilities we will be able to accelerate our ability to launch customer-led offerings with greater efficiency and speed.”
The site also features training facilities to offer practical hands-on training as well as delivering information in a training room setting. The facility benefits from access to tools and expertise to ensure the safe and effective use of DEL’s products on trucks.
The customer centre was designed with sustainability and future growth in mind, underlining Hab’s sustainability goals. DEL’s products also reflect its sustainability ambitions and support for its customers with a solar charging solution to maintain battery performance and reduce emissions.
