MAN has delivered 57 TGS tractor units to Tarmac CRH to transport dry powder cement across the UK.
The TGS 24.460 6x2/2 BLS L cab tractor units include TipMatic 12-speed gearboxes and D2676LF 6-cylinder 12.4-litre engines.
Tarmac CRH regional logistics manager - south Gary Jones said: “We wanted to simplify things by going with one supplier and just one marque for our fleet.
“The MAN dealer network understands the importance of reducing downtime for the vehicles and they know we want a service where the vehicles leave us on a Friday evening and are returned on Saturday ready to go back on the road.”
