HMRC is attempting to wind up a Shropshire haulage firm, of which it said it was a creditor.

LA Haulage & Plant Hire will find out its fate on 30 November when a petition to wind up the Bridgnorth business will be heard at London’s high court.

The company began trading out of its current premises earlier this year, but was originally incorporated three and a half years ago.

Office of the Traffic Commissioner records show that it has a licence authorising six HGVs and one trailer under director Teresa Hill’s name.

An HMRC spokeswoman told CommercialMotor.com: “We don’t give out details of our winding up orders or why they are issued.”
