Roadtransport.com, along with sister titles Commercial Motor and Motor Transport, has been appointed official media partner for the forthcoming CV Operator Show. The exhibition, set to run from 13 to 15 April 2010, will be held at the NEC Birmingham and is aimed at fleet truck and van operators and owner drivers.
“This is the first time we’ve appointed a media partner for the exhibition,” says Nick Jones for the CV Show LLP, the tri-party organisation which owns the Show, made up of IRTE Services Ltd, RHA and SMMT. “We are very excited about the prospect of working with these renowned titles to assist in the promotion of the Show.”
The exhibition will occupy halls 4 and 5 at the NEC and will cover all types of suppliers and service providers and the workshop and aftermarket sector, as well as commercial vehicle manufacturers. “We’re delighted to be working with the Show as its media partner,” Road Transport Group publisher Andy Salter explains.
“We have a lot of exciting and innovative ideas to help the Show and its exhibitors promote themselves to the market. We’re beginning to see the first signs of recovery emerge. As this happens the industry will grow in confidence and will need to get together to discuss ideas, share concerns and review and assess new products and suppliers.
"The CV Operator Show in 2010 will be one of the first opportunities the industry has had to get together since the economic storm and we’ll be making sure everyone in the road transport industry is aware of how they will benefit from exhibiting at or visiting the Show.”
The three-day Show has already attracted over 140 exhibitors and exhibition space is filling up fast, says exhibition organiser Bob Sockl: “We have a number of big names already committed and the list is growing daily,” he says. “We are expecting a very successful Show, aimed as it is at ensuring optimum running efficiency.”
