Horse trading had been brief, now Jeremiah Inimical (senior partner of Crook, Bilk and Inimical Solicitors) probed the contract looking for ‘gratuitous clauses’. He could spot one before it was bought a drink, let alone conceived.
At £135 an hour, The Boss had to be sure before he signed.
The contract looked genuine; no catch or duality.
