The Boss toyed with moving his Knight (white) to G4. His opponent, the computer playing at level five, was a bit more reckless than the level six version. This goaded The Boss into attack mode.

The computer was poised with its Bishop and a Knight attacking G4 with a pawn on F6 that could make life difficult. Its Queen seemed poised to move in after the carnage further depleted his ranks. All he had a pawn covering G4 and a Rook close by. He needed reinforcements.

As his attention turned to the ‘undo’ button his phone buzzed. It was Asbo Trev.
