Crayford-based recovery specialist Dynes Auto Services has taken delivery of three Iveco Eurocargo 14-tonners from dealer Acorn Truck Sales.

The Eurocargo 140E25D/P 4x2 rigids are powered by 6.7-litre Tector engines producing up to 250hp, and feature the two-pedal EuroTronic automated gearbox. Each 5,670mm wheelbase chassis is mounted with a Roger Dyson recovery body and includes rear air-suspension and a seven-person, factory-built crew cab featuring air conditioning.

The firm expects to retain the vehicles for five years, and will add four Daily recovery trucks, also supplied by Acorn Trucks, to the fleet later this year. Andy Nock, director at Dynes Auto Services, said: “We often find ourselves recovering trucks that have EGR problems, which reinforced our preference for Iveco’s HI-SCR technology.”
