The Winsford, Cheshire-based trailer manufacturer said it had supplied a first trailer to UK Mail this year, featuring its front air splitter as well as Dhollandia tuckaway tailift.
Tiger also revealed that it had delivered its first curtain trailer, featuring an "over floor" chassis design, to Accrington-based Earl Transport; provided curtainsided trailers to Manchester based AA&T Rentals, for its customer AKW Global Logistics; delivered an additional batch of curtain trailers to existing customer Oldham-based TTX Express; and supplied CM Downton with a batch of curtain trailers featuring specialised load securing for Downton’s brewery distribution operation.
It has also built a first batch of van trailers for Sports Direct; constructed 10 curtain trailers featuring omega hardwood floor and sliding pillars for Rugby-based haulier Panic Transport and designed and built a trailer for Arden Wood Shavings that features a three metre front headboard and hardwood half lap floor.
Tiger has also appointed Jim Morse to work in its aftersales and engineering support team. Morse started out in the industry in 1976 as a commercial vehicle technician at Mercedes-Benz and has extensive sales experience. Recently Morse worked for Cartwright Fleet Services as a maintenance/compliance planner, before being promoted to workshop supervisor.
Darren Holland, sales director at Tiger Trailers said: “Tiger is all about delivering quality and service. We are very optimistic for the next 12 months, the order book is healthy and enquiry levels are extremely high with both existing customers and new ones.”
