TM Logistics has fitted Navman Wireless vehicle tracking systems to its total fleet of 126 trucks. The haulier, based in Martley, Worcs, initially introduced the technology company's two-way messaging and satellite navigation system to 79 of its vehicles in 2006.
Dean Nicholas, systems and solutions manager at TM Logistics, says the tracking system has helped the company cut costs and make productivity gains. "Our operation has become even more efficient thanks to the increased visibility that vehicle tracking has brought to the business," he explains.
"Navman Wireless's technology is extremely user-friendly and has proved particularly reliable." Tony Neill, executive vice president at Navman Wireless, adds: "We are delighted that one of the most respected names in distribution has utilised our system so successfully."
