Farrall’s Group has added a Totalkare TK70 in-ground brake tester and T8DC mobile column lifts to its workshop. The brake tester will enable the company to efficiently test its truck fleet and address any potential issues as soon as they arise. This is set to improve overall fleet safety and ensure Farrall’s Group vehicles have good brake health at all times.

Totalkare’s groundworks service was enlisted to complete the full installation. The brake tester is on a Totalkare service contact which covers two services and calibration visits from a specialist engineer every year.

Matthew Farrall, managing director of Farrall’s Group, said: “At Farrall’s Group, we’ve always placed an emphasis on safety and efficiency. With the addition of this workshop equipment from Totalkare, we are taking our commitment to the next level. Our priority is to ensure that our fleet is operating at peak performance, and this investment aligns perfectly with that vision.”

The T8DC mobile column lifts were chosen for the flexibility of being able to move the columns to different parts of the workshop. This will help to make the workshop more efficient and further reduce downtime. The lifts can carry up to 7,500kg per column. With adjustable forks and the ability to use configurations of four, six or eight columns, the T8DCs are well suited to cater to a range of different vehicles and wheel diameters.

George Georgiou, area sales manager for Totalkare, added: “We are pleased to be Farrall’s Groups trusted choice for lifting and testing solutions. This equipment will elevate their standards of vehicle maintenance and safety, ensuring Farrall’s Group reach their fleet’s peak performance.”

The investment in Totalkare equipment is part of the company’s wider sustainability plan. By ensuring all the fleet is maintained and operating at its best, the group can achieve maximum possible fuel efficiency.
