Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire haulier Trans Haul (UK) is breaking with 20 years of tradition by buying trucks from DAF.

The company - which has always previously ordered Scanias - has just taken delivery of two new DAF XF105 460 6x2 tractor units with Super Space Cabs.

They will form part of the company's contract logistics fleet and operate on long-haul UK distribution work for various clients.

The vehicles were supplied by local dealer Luton DAF.

Nigel Machado, Trans Haul managing director, says: "For over 20 years we have only operated Scanias so we are breaking with tradition here trying the DAF marque.

"The vehicles are automatic and have been welcomed by our drivers. For the company, DAF put together a very good deal."
