TRP to be the official parts provider to the British Truck Racing Championship

TRP has entered into a deal to become the official parts provider to the British Truck Racing Championship (BTRC) 2022 race season.

The partnership agreement sees TRP, which offers the largest range of all makes truck and trailer parts in the UK, supplying replacement parts at competitive terms to all the British truck racing teams.

Commenting on the announcement, Stuart Oliver, a director of BTRC promotor Truck Sport UK, said: “The TRP agreement is a very welcomed addition to the championship. It undoubtedly will fit well with our other championship partners to further increase the recognition and professionalism of and within our unique heavy weight, motor racing championship.”

This year’s BTRC championship, which will see 20 trucks competing in two divisions in 35 races over seven weekends, kicks off at Brands Hatch on 16-17 April. The teams compete at the Pembrey Circuit (Convoy Cymru truck show) on 7-8 May, before moving to the Thruxton Motorsport Centre (Convoy on the Plain truck show) on 9-10 July.

One of the highlights of the racing season will be Donington Park on 20-21 August, which coincides with the Convoy in the Park truck show. The season’s grand finale takes place at Brands Hatch on 5-6 November.
