At the Road Transport Expo this week, TRP will be showcasing its all-makes truck, trailer and LCV offering from parts to lubricants and consumables. The PACCAR Parts brand stocks more than 100,000 parts to cater to a wide range of commercial vehicle needs.
David Howes, DAF & TRP parts marketing manager said: “We look forward to welcoming our customers to RTX. This marks our second attendance at Stoneleigh with a dedicated stand – an important commitment that allows us to present the full breadth of our parts portfolio. More than that, it’s an opportunity to demonstrate the depth and resilience of our nationwide network, as well as the efficacy of our 24/7 online platform, which delivers seamless parts identification, real-time stock availability, and direct ordering through the TRP Webshop.”
The TRP team will be based outside on stand B1 ready to answer questions and talk through its parts offering. A TRP-liveried parts van from DAF dealer Chassis Cab is due to feature on the stand alongside a Durite parts van focusing on electrical technology. Attendees will also be invited to compete in TRP’s ‘darts for parts’ challenge to win prizes and learn about the company’s offering.
Founded in 1994, TRP parts are now available at more than 140 DAF dealer sites in the UK and Ireland. Dedicated TRP stores have been established at strategic locations and three TRP Service+ sites stock specialised parts.
The PACCAR group is expected to be out in full force at RTX with DAF displaying models from its electric range as well as unveiling a surprise exhibit on the first morning of the show. RTX forms part of DAF’s 30th anniversary year marking three decades of market leadership in the UK. Looking ahead to the next 30 years, the company is displaying two examples from its electric range: a DAF XD 270 FAN Electric 28 tonne 6x2 rigid and a DAF XF 350 FT Electric 4x2 tractor unit plated to 42 tonnes.
Next to the TRP area, DAF plans to display an XG heavy haulage tractor unit with a 6x4 FTT axle configuration and an XDC 8x4 tipper.
