Truckfile will be making its debut at this year’s Road Transport Expo (RTX) to showcase its suite of fleet and workshop management technology.
The manufacturer said its systems are already the “go-to-tool” for many fleet operators, independent workshops and franchised truck dealerships.
Accredited by the DVSA for Earned Recognition, Truckfile enables fleets to reduce vehicle downtime by flagging up any issues approaching on the horizon, so appropriate workshop time-slots can be booked and the correct parts picked in advance.
The system combines data about advisories, defects and faults, to give transport operators or workshop managers a full overview of the current state of a vehicle or asset’s health.
In partnership with voice-integration specialist Dakota, the Truckfile Voice additional module allows anyone carrying out a service, repair or inspection to use entirely verbal commands spoken into a microphone on a headset to record the job.
Featuring Honeywell voice-directed technology, Truckfile said the new solution has the potential to speed up process efficiency by up to 20% plus, promising significant productivity gains for busy workshops.
Truckfile’s fleet management technology can also be linked with its driver walk-around app called Driver Check.
Daily inspections are immediately uploaded into Truckfile, the geographical location of the vehicle is saved along with the reports to give you a complete history on file for the lifetime of your commercial vehicle.

A Truckfile company spokeswoman said: “We’re looking forward to attending the show for the first time to showcase our latest developments in software for streamlining the management of your fleet and workshop.
“It’s also a pleasure to network with peers from the industry and spend some time seeing what everyone else has been up to over the last year.”
The Road Transport Expo is a bumper, three-day tradeshow "all about the truck" that launched to industry last year. It takes place from 28-30 June at NAEC Stoneleigh, Warwickshire. Why not register today for your free ticket to attend?
