Two new Schmitz Cargobull trailers for Deans Transport

Rental business Deans Transport has added two new Schmitz Cargobull trailers to its fleet.

The German manufacturer already accounts for half of Deans Transport's 130-strong fleet, and the business anticipates it will run the newest additions for seven years.

Deans Transport owner Mark Dean said that he favours Schmitz trailers because his customers value their robustness and "how easy they are to maintain".

"They often comment on the quality build and the extras including rear buffers and the tough insulation panels," he said.

Dean added that the company also benefits from a better resale value when the time comes to sell the trailers on, and that his customers said the manufacturer's insulation panels had reduced fuel consumption on temperature-controlled operations.
