Continental Tyres is reinforcing its ‘Your Trusted Fleet Partner’ message at this year’s Road Transport Expo in June (RTX).

The tyre-maker will be highlighting its products, services and technology solutions, which include haulage tyre ranges from Continental, Bandvulc and ContiRe tyres.

For the first time at RTX, the Continental stand will also display Uniroyal tyres. The brand’s highway range is suited to high mileage regional and long-distance applications.

Alongside the tyres themselves, Continental will be discussing its Conti360° Solutions fleet tyre-management system. This covers digital tyre monitoring, breakdown coverage, analytics and optimisation, retreading, and tyre and vehicle services.

Continental’s digital solutions extend to tyre-pressure-monitoring systems ContiConnect 2.0 and ContiPressureCheck, which will be demonstrated during the Expo.

Connected systems allow operators or drivers to view tyre information, which can be linked with workshops to schedule maintenance as required.

Fleet experts will also be on hand to identify ways in which operators can reduce their environmental footprint. This could be by opting for a tyre that has lower rolling resistance, which improves fuel efficiency, or retreading tyres to minimise the environmental impact of using a tyre for just one life.

Pete Robb, marketing director at Continental Tyres, said: “In today’s challenging market, Continental stands in support of the transport and logistics industry. We know that there’s constant pressure on fleet operators to reduce costs and choose sustainable products, which is why we’re doing all we can to provide our customers with tailored solutions to maximise their operation.

“Retreads, for example, are a hugely important element of the commercial vehicle tyre mix. With our Bandvulc and ContiRe products, operators can benefit from a sustainable alternative to new tyres that not only look like new, but run like new, too.

“We’re looking forward to meeting customers – both new and established – at this year’s Road Transport Expo, to demonstrate our multidisciplinary approach to rubber and the innovative technology that supports it.”

Road Transport Expo takes place from 4-6 June at NAEC Stoneleigh in Warwickshire. It is completely free to attend for visitors, so why not book your place today?!
