Couplings expert VBG Group Sales is heading to NAEC Stoneleigh this summer to take part in bumper tradeshow, the Road Transport Expo (RTX).
A well-known vehicle drawbar coupling manufacturer, with more than 70 years’ experience, VBG will be demonstrating its latest smart generation coupling.
The company said this builds on its tradition of quality and refined mechanics with the addition of new digital technology to boost safety and reliability.
Darren Miller, country manager at VBG Group Sales, said: “The new electrical architecture builds a system of functions and communication around the coupling.
“Digital technology also makes it possible to integrate the coupling into the truck’s instrument cluster, and to directly connect new functions to the CAN bus without separate cabling (plug-and-play).”
Visitors to the Road Transport Expo will also be able to find out more about VBG Underrun protection systems.
These are complete flexible systems designed for a variety of vehicle types, frame widths and installation needs.
“We offer systems that cover R58.02 for small series and individual type approvals and R58.03 which came into force in September 2019 for whole vehicle type approvals,” added Miller.
VBG will also be focusing on the Onspot automatic snow chain system, which it said is an easy-to-use, uncomplicated and reliable technology.
On icy and slippery road conditions, Onspot is activated by the driver from the cab, which makes it ideal for emergency vehicles, public transport, or commercial vehicle haulage vehicles.
“VBG Group Sales is looking forward to exhibiting at RTX 2023 for the first time,” said Miller, so why not drop in to visit the friendly team on its stand during your show visit?
