Volvo’s Economy used programme is offering its first Version 4 FH tractor unit to have clocked up one million kilometres.
The manufacturer created the Economy trucks brand five years ago to sell trucks more than five years old, or with a mileage of more than 500,000km. This 14-plate 6x2 Globetrotter, available from Volvo’s preowned truck centre in Coventry, was previously in service with a national fleet customer and has been fully maintained by the manufacturer since new.
It also includes a six-month unlimited mileage driveline warranty, which Volvo has introduced for all Version 4 FH Economy used vehicles. Trucks from the Economy programme include safety inspections and MoTs.
They are aimed at newlyqualified drivers and owner-drivers as well as company owners who want a vehicle to complement their existing fleet. Stock mainly comes from end-of-contract trucks or part exchanges generated from within the Volvo Network and most have been fully maintained by the manufacturer.
