Volvo FH16-750 Tridem 8x4 for Buckingham Plant Hire

Buckingham Plant Hire has taken delivery of an FH16-750 Tridem 8x4 heavy haulage tractor unit from Milton Keynes-based Volvo Truck and Bus Centre London.

The truck, which comes with a Globetrotter XL cab, is coupled to a Nooteboom Euro 83 4-axle extendable low-loader with steering axles, and also features Durabrite polished aluminium wheels.

Its 700-litre fuel tanks, infill, lockers, aluminium wings and catwalk were fabricated and fitted by SB Components of Wisbech, which also fitted the Trux grille guard.

Paintwork is by J Radford Group of Hertfordshire and the Buckingham signwriting is by Stevenage Signs.

Plant director Mick Tye says: “I would say we enjoy outstanding product support from Volvo; the performance of the truck is excellent and the strong residual value of Volvo simply makes good business sense.”
