Matthew Lee has left his role as dealer manager at the Wellingborough-based Volvo Trucks workshop to become general manager at TruckEast Scania, also in the town.

Lee, who has more than 10 years’ experience in sales and aftersales in the commercial vehicle sector, will lead TruckEast’s service, parts and bodyshop divisions at the site in Stewarts Road. TruckEast Wellingborough has a 24-hour workshop with 14 bays, an ATF lane, tachograph centre and truck wash.

He will be responsible for 70 employees. Lee said: “TruckEast Wellingborough already has a strong team, one that made me feel very welcome.

"This, along with a loyal customer base, gives a great platform for development. My focus has always been on providing the best solution to customers; this means the best support with minimal impact on business.”

Regional aftersales director Graham Broughton said: “Matthew has a wealth of experience from across the industry working with premium brands such as ourselves.”
