Volvo Trucks, supported by north of England dealership Crossroads Truck & Bus, will again be attending Tip-ex and Tank-ex, the UK’s only national exhibition for the tipper, tanker and bulk haulage sectors.
On display at the event, which takes place at the Harrogate Convention Centre between 30 May and 1 June, will be two models from its range – and while details are yet to be confirmed Volvo did say that they would be suitable for all sizes of construction, mining and quarrying companies – and would be complemented by products from its sister company – Volvo Construction Equipment.
Volvo also said that operators of Volvo Trucks construction vehicles would be able to take advantage of gross operating weights that now extend from 10t to 180t under STGO CAT3 rules.
Volvo will also be sponsoring the Tipper Haulier of the Year award at the Tip-ex and Tank-ex Awards – which are open for entry until 29 March. The presentation takes place at the Royal Hall, Harrogate, on the evening of Friday 31 May.
