Family-run Welsh haulier Shillibier Haulage has gone into liquidation.
The company held a licence to operate 15 vehicles and three trailers out of the Village Farm industrial estate in Bridgend and specialised in waste, aggregate and contaminated materials haulage.
It was also involved in plant machinery and transport hire.
Liquidators Richard Hawes and Robin Allen from Deloitte LLP were appointed following a general meeting of the company on 22 December.
A resolution was passed “that it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that the company be wound up voluntarily.”
Shillibier Haulage had been trading for more than 35 years and four members of the Shillibier family held directorships.
Director Claire Shillibier, who is also director at Bridgend scrappage haulier Wern Tarw Recycling, which VOSA records show has a licence application in progress, declines to comment.
