South Wales haulier M&M Greene has taken delivery of an 8x4 TGS 32.510, which is its first New Generation MAN.

The 510hp tipper, which will be used to deliver aggregates throughout mid and west Wales and move spoil and muck-away from local projects and building sites, features a Wilcox Wilcosteel body. Built entirely from Hardox 450 steel, the deck thickness is 4mm, while the sides, headboard and tailgate are 3mm thick. The wings and valances are made out of aluminium plate.

M&M Greene MD Mike Greene said: “The MAN trucks we already operate have proven to be both tough and reliable. In this part of the world we have some challenging hills, both on- and off-road, so we need dependable and solid workhorses.

“The MAN trucks are also a firm favourite with our drivers who appreciate the cab’s spacious interior, the build quality, and the overall driving experience. By adding some new creature comforts and enhancing the specification we can see this new vehicle being even more driver-friendly and welcoming.”

The TGS was purchased outright, and will stay on the 10-strong fleet for seven years. It was supplied by local dealer WG Davies of Swansea.
