WH Bowker pays tribute to company director Geoff Whittle

Preston-based WH Bowker has paid tribute to company director Geoff Whittle [pictured] who has died.

In a statement the transport company said: ‘’It is with great regret that the directors of WH Bowker wish to advise you of the recent, sudden death of our fellow director, Geoff Whittle.

"Geoff, who has been part of our management team for over 40 years will be sadly missed by all directors and colleagues. Geoff was widely respected as one of the most talented fleet engineers of his generation and was, in part, responsible for some of the major innovations and developments which the transport industry continues to benefit from today.

"Our thoughts are with his wife, Glenice and all of the members of her family on such a sad occasion’’
