Scottish logistics firm WH Malcolm has unveiled healthy accounts for the year to 31 January 2008. Turnover rose to £218.7m, up from £183.8m in 2007, while pre-tax profit grew £1.2m to £11m.
Although the report says the outlook for 2008 is "encouraging" and points to a healthy order book in the firm's construction division, it is uncertain how the downturn in construction this year has affected the business.
