Widdowson Group has been awarded a 12 month rolling haulage by Linpac Storage Systems.
The contract covers the transport of Linpac's Apex pallet racking, as well as a range of other storage equipment, to its customer network throughout the UK.
Widdowson won back the contract after a three year break from the manufacturer of storage systems, regaining its place as the "chosen haulier", after Linpac asked them to tender again.
The renewed alliance sees several technological advances for both companies, including the ability to view the progress of deliveries online in real time. Linpac general manager David Sheppard says: "We can view the proof of delivery notes online - something we find particularly useful."
