Aluminium tipper body builder Wilcox Commercial Vehicles is on the verge of opening a brand-new 3,000m² factory at its Market Deeping production plant.
The new facility, which will eventually have its own paint shop and DVSA test lane, will increase the company’s build capacity from 50 to 75 rigids and tipping trailers per month. This will help it to cope with strong demand for its products, and slash current six-month lead times.
The new facility will open early next year and will provide 30 new jobs, taking the total number of employees to 120.
The company recently produced its first Whole Vehicle Type Approved tippers.
