Wincanton extends partnership with Bath Rugby Club

Wincanton has extended its partnership with Bath Rugby Club for the next two seasons, following three seasons of sponsorship. The deal will see Wincanton branding continue on the back of Bath shirts, around the ground and on match tickets.

Tim Davies, commercial director, Bath RFC, says: "We are delighted that Wincanton is renewing its support. It is a major company in our area and has a market leading reputation throughout the UK and across Europe."

FTA supports proposed trial of A12 overtaking ban
Trucks could be banned from overtaking on the A12 after an independent inquiry recommended a 12-month trial between Hatfield Peverel and Marks Tey. While the idea may upset hauliers, the move has won the support of the Freight Transport Association (FTA) which says it no longer opposes HGV overtaking bans after trials showed they cause few delays to haulage operators.
