Wincanton renews sponsorship of Bath Rugby club

Wincanton has renewed its sponsorship of Bath Rugby club in a deal that will run until at least the end of the 2011/12 season.

The Wiltshire-based logistics giant has sponsored Bath for five years and its logo will continue to feature on the back of the club shirt, and for the first time, it will also appear on a branded executive team coach.

Wincanton chief executive, and Bath fan, Graeme McFaull says: "Wincanton and Bath share many characteristics, such as a European pedigree, a culture of continuous improvement, a team that goes from strength to strength, and serious ambitions for growth."

Bath finished fourth in the Guinness Premiership in the 09/10 season, losing to eventual winners Leicester Tigers in the play-off semi-finals.
