Woodland Media Logistics, a division of Woodland International Transport, is going after its competitors' business just 12 months after it was launched to serve the transportation and distribution needs of international magazine publishers.
Paul Almeroth, commercial director of the Colchester-based firm, says: "We have contracts with two of the big four distributors that export magazines and we're already talking to the other two. One of them has been with the same logistics firm for 20 years, but we've just put in a bid and hope to hear if we're successful by year end.
"The fact that we already control a significant share of the market for magazines being exported to the US is testament to our ability to satisfy customers in this field," he adds.
