Yodel has helped client Mothercare in its bid to raise £1.75m for campaign Born to Care.

The parcel giant was on hand to transport food and water for 12 Mothercare cyclists that cycled over three days from Southampton to Mansfield last month. The 220 mile event raised £12,500 for the charity, which helps to improve the lives of underprivileged children.

Adam Smith, Yodel marketing director, says: “Yodel is already aligned with cycling events through our partnership with the Tour of Britain, so this was a natural association for us. We were delighted to be able to support Mothercare and help them to raise such a fantastic sum of money for a very worthy cause.”

Yodel handles over two million parcels a year for Mothercare and its sister company Early Learning Centre.
